SAN ANTONIO - Four military heroes have been reunited, and two of them are right here in San Antonio !
The two formed incredible bonds with their service dogs, Poker and Aida, but were sadly separated in 2022 when Stone retired from the Marine Corps, and Weissend was transferred to Lackland AFB in San Antonio. Once they learned the news, they quickly reached out to American Humane, America's largest humane society, to adopt their four-legged former coworkers. The group has reunited 60 current and former service members with their former service animals since 2014.
