Hero police officers helped save a man's life after reports of a fight at a McDonald's in Manchester city centre.
Greater Manchester Police said he remained in hospital on Sunday in a 'serious but stable condition' following the incident on Saturday afternoon.The officers involved are set to be formally commended for their life-saving actions. A man, meanwhile, has been arrested and is being questioned. In a statement, the force said: "GMP neighbourhood officers provided life-saving treatment after a man was injured in a city centre restaurant.
