The dramatic incident unfolded in Tooele County around midnight on Saturday, February 2nd, as a man ventured onto the ice at Stansbury Lake in a desperate attempt to save his beloved canine companion.
Deputy Jeremy Taubman, responding swiftly to the unfolding emergency, bravely navigated the scene. He leaped over a fence, demonstrating his determination to reach the individuals in peril. With remarkable composure and skill, Deputy Taubman utilized a rope to skillfully pull the man and the dog to safety from the unforgiving ice. The North Tooele Fire District lauded Deputy Taubman's courageous actions in a heartfelt social media post.
