Herman Cain said in an interview he is 'very committed' to sticking with the White House vetting process for the Fed, despite GOP senators' opposition
STOCKBRIDGE, Ga.—Herman Cain said Wednesday he has no intention of withdrawing his name from consideration for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board, despite an apparent lack of sufficient support for Senate confirmation if President Trump nominates him.
Mr. Cain, speaking in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, said that he’s “very committed” to sticking with the process of being vetted by the White House as it considers whether to formally nominate him for the position.
