A24 releases a new trailer for Heretic, the upcoming horror movie directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods starring Hugh Grant.
“Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed , becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse,” the official synopsis reads.
Heretic held its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month. It received positive reviews from critics, with many praising Grant’s performance. Beck and Woods’ previous filmography includes 2015’s Nightlight, 2019’s Haunt, and 2023’s 65. They are also credited as writers on 2018’s A Quiet Place and 2023’s The Boogeyman.
