Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ sequel, guest starring Selena Gomez.
We’re not even halfway through 2024 yet, but Selena Gomez has already had a year to remember. The star had a Marilyn Monroe moment at the Golden Globes; her whispered conversation with Taylor Swift went viral; she brought her new boyfriend Benny Blanco to the Emmys; it was announced that she’d be playing Linda Ronstadt in a new big-screen biopic; and now her latest release, Jacques Audiard’s surreal musical Emilia Pérez, is due to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to guest starring in the forthcoming pilot for the reboot, titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the multihyphenate is set to executive produce too, alongside her former onscreen sibling, David Henrie, who will be returning to the role of Justin Russo as a series regular.
