Robert Pattinson as 'The Batman' is exactly what I needed today!

Ahead of the film's October 2021 planned release date,director, Matt Reeves, shared a teaser trailer during DC's FanDome on Saturday, August 22. The clip contained the public debut of Robert as Batman, along with our first look at Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.Opening with the aftermath of a crime scene, Commissioner Gordon is reading aloud from a letter personally addressed to Batman. Waiting in the wings, in a full batsuit of course, is the caped crusader himself.

Originally scheduled for release in June 2021, the film is now projected to hit theaters next October,. Coronavirus had caused a previous delay in filming, and Reeves confirmed that only 25 to 30 percent of the total movie has been shot, with production expected to resume in September. Reeves also shared that the film was not an exploration into Batman's origin, but rather a focus on “Year Two” of some of Gotham's most famous residents.
