The New Jersey Department of Agriculture will be handing out free Jersey Fresh blueberries to beachgoers on Monday.
It’s New Jersey’s prime blueberry season this month and those going to the Jersey Shore on Monday may be able to get some for free.
“This has been a very popular event each of the past two years and we anticipate there will be high demand for delicious and plump Jersey Fresh blueberries,” NJDA Assistant Secretary Joe Atchison said in a statement.
