Downtown Vision says only people drinking out of specialty cups will be allowed to drink alcohol while walking along the river.
People walking along the Northbank and Southbank in Downtown Jacksonville can now drink alcoholic beverages out of special to-go cups.JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Adults looking to beat the heat with an ice-cold alcoholic beverage can do so while enjoying a stroll along the St. Johns River, thanks to a new program.
Businesses participating in this program include Chart House, St. Johns Provisions in the Double Tree by Hilton, SHOR Seafood Grill, TAVERN in the Hyatt Regency, Morton's the Steakhouse and Southbank Johnnie's.
