An upcoming event at Mohn Street Park in Steelton will give you the chance to stamp your handprint in paint on a new mural near the community garden.
A local park and community garden in Steelton is getting an artsy makeover this week, and you can be included in the project.
Silhouettes of buildings going up a hill bookend one half of the mural to represent the sloping streets of Steelton. Hand-painted cartoons including Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, a dabbing unicorn and some friendly looking fruits next to an ice cream cone are also present with vivid background colors.
Each train car has a painting to go with it, such as the Steelton-Highspire Rollers logo, Naples Pizza, Steelton police/fire departments and many more.
