On Saturday and Sunday, humidity levels will likely rise, although they won’t be as bad as they were during the past few days, theSaturday is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures climbing into the mid- to upper 80s. More intense heat could arrive on Sunday, with afternoon highs making a run for 90 degrees for inland areas and the mid-80s along the Jersey Shore.
If the front stalls near the New Jersey region — something some computer guidance models are projecting — it would bring “continuing chances for showers and storms at least through Labor Day and potentially beyond,” the weather service said.
