The Netflix adaptation, like the book, will shift its focus to a new character each season. When the show returns on March 25, the romantic entanglements of Anthony Bridgerton will take center stage.
at Anthony facing off against his reported new love interest, Kate Sharma , but with today's news, the streaming service shared more of what to expect. “Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India,” an updated description of the season reads. “When Anthony begins to court Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions — a true love match is not high on his priority list — and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union.
Certainly sounds like Lady Whistledown will have a lot to keep tabs on. Here's hoping this isn't the last we hear from her before the March premiere.
