The trend of viewing content from anywhere and on a multitude of devices will only progress.
And, as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV+ extend their content offerings, the “Big Five” will be joined by streaming services from HBO Max and NBC’s Peacock, among others, further increasing our viewing choices., Netflix was the clear leader with 19 of its series listed. The sole show not on its platform that made the cut was Hulu’s. Next year will see more diversity when it comes to where consumers go to find content.for 2020, it’s truly a mixed bag.
What this goes to show is that viewers do not necessarily care where they get their entertainment as long as it’s good. Consumers are planning their TV bingeing around the content, not the network or streaming site it’s on.
