Class 1 vehicles pay less than Php 100 🌉

Last week, the 8.9-km Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway was officially opened to the public. With Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 vehicles allowed to enter the 8.9-km expressway, those who need to get from Metro Cebu to Cordova in Mactan Island can shorten their travel time via the newly-opened bridge.

But just how much do you have to pay in order to use the almost 9-km expressway? Wonder no more as the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corp. has officially revealed the toll rates for the recently-opened bridge. Approved and authorized by the Local Toll Regulatory Council , the toll rates were computed by the LGU-Grantors based on the Concession Agreement for the CCLEX. The toll rates for CCLEX are as follows:

-PHP 90 for Class 1 vehicles such as cars, jeepneys, vans, and motorcycles. The CCLEC, however, is still looking into how much of a discount to give for-PHP 180 for Class 2 vehicles such as light trucks, tourists/school buses, and public utility buses For now, the expressway accepts cash payments as CCLEC is still giving motorists more time to have RFID stickers installed on their vehicles/motorcycles.

For Cebuanos who are looking to get from Metro Cebu to Mactan Island via the CCLEX, better have cash on hand before you enter the newly-opened expressway. As an additional reminder, pedestrians and motorcycles below 400cc will only be allowed entry starting in July.
