All 120 of the Legislature’s seats — one Senate spot and two Assembly spots for each of the state’s 40 districts — are on the ballot. Pappas’ Assembly running mates are are Ross Traphagen, a Clinton councilman, and Grace Zhang, an accountant.Abortion is a critical issue here. Zwicker cast his daughter in a campaign ad warning about what might happen to reproductive rights if Pappas’ team is elected. Pappas has said he wants to ban all abortions, and Zwickerthat his opponent is “completely out of touch” with most New Jerseyans. Pappas said Zwicker’s stance on abortion is “among the most radical of any legislator in New Jersey.
