The ARC Raiders Cold Snap patch is about to drop, and here are the patch notes of what's coming with the game's biggest update so far.

That would be: A new Snowfall map condition, which will appear for Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate. This includes reduced visibility, footprint tracking and actual frostbite. Frostbite will need to be battled by finding shelter indoors every so often, which will obviously encourage more indoor encounters with rival players if the outdoors is no longer hospitable. There is a Flickering Flames event which will let players earn 25 rewards while playing by cashing in a new currency for gear, cosmetics and Raider Tokens. There is a new project called Candleberry Banquet, where there will be five stages involving finding items on maps. This will build up a banquet table inside and earn you event currency, cosmetics and Raider Tokens. This will be the first time that players who have finished the full Expedition will be given the chance to start over with a fresh character, earning permanent bonuses for doing so, like cosmetics, stash space and permanent skill points for a million credits each. So, there’s a whole lot coming, and players seem pleased with the amount of things being added to the game and the kinds of quality of life fixes that are coming. ARC Raiders has maintained a very solidsince its unexpectedly huge launch, and this event may result in a resurgence. We’ll find out tomorrow. Oh! I almost forgot. The first crossover with Embark’s The Finals is here. If you play three matches in any mode in The Finals, you will get an outfit in ARC Raiders.
