The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will present 21 concerts over its 18-day run, a mix of big stars, old favorites, harder-hitting country rock bands and a few surprises. None of the acts repeats from last year; it’s a fresh slate. The rodeo begins Feb. 6 and runs through Feb. 23 at the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum grounds. Tickets cost $35 and are on sale at sarodeo.com. Some dates already are close to sold out: Only scattered tickets are left for the Feb.

Since then, he has established himself as a reliable country artist with hits such as 'You Time' and 'Damn Strait'; the video for the latter song was filmed at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels.
