While Houston may not be a hotspot for high tea, a handful of hotels and restaurants in the city offer popular afternoon tea services.

Here are five places where you can enjoy afternoon tea service in Houston this week, whether you have a small number donning giant hats or prefer a more sedate experience.The standard tea service, priced at $39 per person, includes three pots of tea from more than 50 options, as well as three types of sandwiches, three desserts, and two scones. The Tipsy Tea, for $54 per person, includes all of that plus unlimited wine, sparkling wine or mimosas.St.

No cardboard cutouts here: The River Oaks hotel sticks to tradition in its Tea Lounge, which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for tea service starting at $59 per person.
