In addition to Cavill, the star-studded cast features Jake Gyllenhaal, Eiza González, Kristofer Hivju, Fisher Stevens, and Rosamund Pike. The film, which is directed and written by Ritchie, revolves around a covert team of elite operatives hidden in the shadows. After a billion-dollar fortune is stolen by a ruthless tyrant, the team is given the mission to get the money back. This begins as a heist, but soon escalates into war and a battle for survival. Black Bear picked up the distribution rights for In The Grey and scheduled it for January 17, 2025, before it was pulled from the release calendar. Now that Black Bear has its own distribution operation in the U.S., the film is back on the schedule and slated for an April 10, 2026 theatrical debut.
