Prosecutors are seeking life in prison without parole for Eddie Jones, who is accused of killing Indiana State Police Trooper Aaron Smith.
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — Prosecutors are seeking a life sentence for a teenager charged in the death of a state trooper.Trooper Aaron SmithJones is currently charged with murder, resisting police and car theft. A motion entitled"notice of intent to seek life imprisonment without parole" was filed Friday in Hendricks County, online court records said.
A passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old DeMareon L. Curry, also from Missouri, was charged with auto theft and resisting law enforcement, a Level 5 felony, according to police.
