The Mohave County Sheriff's Office has partnered with Othram in hopes of identifying the 1971 homicide victim through DNA testing.

On January 23, 1971, police found a woman's body near a dirt road about 2 miles east of U.S. Route 93 on Hackberry Road outside Kingman.In April, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit reached out to Othram Inc. to determine if DNA testing and forensic-grade genome sequencing could uncover her identity and the circumstances leading to her death.

The money raised will assist Othram Inc. in uploading her DNA profile into national databases to identify potential family members.
