Presenter Helen Skelton has come under fire for a comment she made in Thursday's live episode of Summer On The Farm - her first TV series since splitting from her husband.
Farmers, Rob and Dave claimed the calf was a "surprise to us both" as she had it all by herself during the night. They claimed he was "belter" - Rob added the "little boy drinks like Dave on a Friday night." @LindaTarff added: "@HelenSkelton you’ve just ask why you don’t see many male calf’s ? You do know what Veal is … the life of a cow is milk or meat!"
As families appeared to be the theme tonight a father and son, who are 4th and 5th generation Wheelright's with over 20+ years of experience showed Helen and Martin how to make wooden wheels for caravans and karts. During the live demonstration Helen asked if the burning iron was "red hot," which Martin mocked her for.
