Seven people have been arrested since the tragedy on October 10.
PINE BELT, Miss. - Tylar Jarod Goodloe, the man accused of shooting and killing two people at Heidelberg High School’s homecoming on Friday, Oct. 10, has been released into federal custody . Goodloe was originally listed in the Jasper County online jail roster, but is now booked in the Forrest County Jail roster.
He did not make bond and is still in custody, but is now being held in a different place. According to Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson, the United States Marshal’s Service took him into custody for taking a weapon on school property. This can also be considered a state offense, but federal laws are much stricter. Heidelberg Police Chief Cornell White said that there is a possibility of a third murder charge, pending the full autopsy report and another investigation.Johnson also reported that “there is a possibility that more of the suspects will be released into federal custody.” Two other suspects, Jadarius Page and Jabari Collins, have bonded out, according to Johnson. Page was charged with one count of accessory after the fact with a cash bond of $25,000. Collins was charged with one count of deadly weapon on educational property, with the same cash bond. According to Johnson, there is a possibility that gun and tampering charges could be handled by the feds. Seven people have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting over the last few weeks. Outside of those listed in this story, these are the other identified suspects:From left to right: Tylar Jarod Goodloe, Damarin Starks, Jadarius Quartez Page, Jabari Deshaun Collins, Jaylen Gammage, and Taylor Markay Hartfield. One more suspect was arrested in connection with a crime, but cannot be identified publicly since they are a minor.The seventh suspect cannot be identified publicly because they are a minor. Three people have died since the tragedy at Heidelberg.
