Together, the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics at Heidelberg, the Kirchhoff Institute for Physics and the Institute of Environmental Physics at Heidelberg Uni-versity invite applications for the position of ato develop a dual-comb spectrometer setup for measurements of atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane concentrations.
This research will be carried out in a new lab at the University of Heidelberg within the group on Synthetic Quantum Systems at KIP and the group on Atmospheric Physics at IUP, while the position will be hosted by the division of Quantum Dynamics&Control at the MPIK. Together, our expertise covers a comprehensive range across laser physics, light-matter interactions, and Earth atmosphere spectroscopy.
