The highest snowfall totals are expected in Cape May County, where a wintry mix could include freezing rain Monday afternoon. Accu Weather issued a new snowfall forecast map for Monday's winter storm that increased totals to 6 to 12 inches for Cape May County and parts of Salem, Cumberland and Atlantic counties. Accu Weather revised its snowfall forecast map early Sunday to increase its predictions for Cape May County and parts of Salem, Cumberland and Atlantic counties.

Those areas are now in a band of 6 to 12 inches that sweeps across the Delaware Bay through Maryland and Delaware. AccuWeather is calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow across the rest of the southern half of the state and 1 to 3 inches between I-80 and the I-195 corridors. The snow forecast map from the National Weather Service’s regional forecast office in Mount Holly includes more narrow bands of snow in 2 inch increments. The highest snowfall totals of 6 to 8 inches are expected across Cape May, Cumberland, Salem and southern Atlantic counties. As far north as I-80 could see at least an inch of snow and areas south I-195 have forecasts ranging from 3 to 6 inches. The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings for parts of seven southern New Jersey counties for Monday. The highest amounts ranging from 2 to 8 inches are expected in the southern half of the state, though the entire state should see some snow.The forecast from the National Weather Service’s New York office, which issues forecasts for Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties, has less than 1 inch of snow predicted.The Monmouth County-based NY NJ PA Weather forecasting company’s snow total map includes a zone of 6 to 12 inches across parts of South Jersey along with the chance of thundersnow. Moderate snowfall of 3 to 6 inches is expected across the rest of southern New Jersey with lesser amounts north of I-195
