The National Weather Service warns that up to 2 inches of snow could fall in about two hours.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A heavy snow band was moving across the eastern portion of Lake County and through Ashtabula County early Friday morning possibly dropping up to 2 inches by 6:15 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The snow likely will impact travel on Interstate 90 east of Ohio 44 in Lake County. The Ohio Department of Transportation lowered speed limits on that section to 60 mph as of 5 a.m.
