ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla — Thursday's heavy rains led the owners of a local corn maze to close for Friday night. The good news: the corn maze itself is okay.. It's an autumn farm experience, and this year's maze design celebrated country music star Reba McEntire.But she and her father weren't laughing about the 5-7 inches of rain that fell on their business Thursday. "The decision was just to close tonight Friday, October 13th," Losco told First Coast News.
"I think our radishes are probably going to be in trouble," Sykes said."As far as the other stuff, it’s still growing." The corn maze will only be closed Friday night, and the Sykes family is optimistic the farm fun and corn maze amusement will resume Saturday.
