Thunderstorms hit some parts of the UK overnight
Weather forecasters are predicting 'unsettled' conditions this week with heavy rain to hit Greater Manchester.
The rain is forecast until at least 2pm today before a largely cloudy afternoon. More heavy showers are then predicted from around 7pm and through the night.READ MORE: The 'little Italy' hillside village less than an hour from Manchester The mercury will reach highs of around 18C. Unsettled conditions are then expected for much of the rest of the week, with a mix of cloudy, sunny and rainy weather conditions.
