Heavy police presence at Blackpool Shell garage after drunken incident
A heavy police presence was sparked after reports of a drunken incident in Blackpool earlier this morning.
Several vehicles were spotted stationed at the Shell Garage on Talbot Road. Pictures sent to LancsLive showed numbers officers at the scene at around 4.45am today .READ MORE: Blackpool hotel manager hits back at guest who claimed 'the place smells like a nursing home' Lancashire Constabulary told LancsLive that they were called to reports of a man being 'drunk, abusive, trying to steal things'. He was also alleged to have smashed a car window.A force spokesperson said: "It was a report of a man being drunk, abusive, trying to steal things and smashing a car window.
"A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and obstructing police. Remains in custody."
