Temperatures across North Texas are expected to be above 100 for several days this week.A heat advisory that’s lasted all week in North Texas is expected to expire by 8 p.m. Friday. But hot weather will continue into next week.
The heat index could reach between 104 and 108 degrees Friday afternoon. As a weak cold front moves in this weekend, cloud cover will increase on Saturday, bringing northerly winds but without chances of temperatures decreasing.“The heating distance will remain because the temperatures are going to still be right there in the triple digits,” said Patricia Sanchez, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
