Until a Jalen Green drive, their only points of the final minutes came when they rebounded their own missed shots. The Heat were struggling as glaringly until the Rockets began turning the ball over, giving the Heat chance after chance. The Heat, however, had made 3 of 12 shots in the fourth quarter. K.J. Martin blocked a Butler drive at the rim, and the Rockets had a good look at a 3 to take the lead to eight. Jabari Smith Jr., who had made 3 of 6 from deep and had scored 20 points, missed, before Butler drew a foul and cut the lead to three with 2 1/2 minutes left.Again Butler drew a foul, and again he made both free throws.
