NRL star Jahrome Hughes was left teary-eyed when he received a touching tribute from teammates after winning the prestigious Dally M Medal.
Jahrome Hughes has been moved to tears following a touching act from teammates after taking out the 2024 Dally M Medal .
The Kiwi no.7 stood on the stage and was about to stand in front of the Dally M Team of the Year for a photo when host Yvonne Sampson who was wrapping up the night, was interrupted."And that concludes our coverage of the 2024 Dally M Medal..." she said, before Melbourne teammate Will Warbrick moved towards the stage beginning an impromptu Haka.
“A powerful mark of respect and what it means in this great game of ours in the NRL,” Sampson added following the performance. Hughes' rise has won him many supporters, after only becoming a full-time halfback in 2020 in the year he also won the premiership with Melbourne.
