Tributes are flooding in for the tragic youngster
Heartbreaking tributes have been paid to a 16-year-old boy who tragically died in the River Calder last night. Tyler's Wilson has been named locally today by loved ones as floral and balloon tributes are left at the scene.
Now, tributes have been laid at the scene as family and friends pay tribute to the teenager. Balloons and cards, along with flowers, can be seen tied to a post marking the water's depth. One read: "We will all miss you, you left us too early. Forever 16. My angel xx."Another tribute at the scene simply reads: "Sleep tight."
Meanwhile, Lynda Trickett said: "My heart goes out to all his family & friends so sudden, tragic, it is so difficult to come to terms with such an unexpected loss at such a young age. Rest in Peace young man." West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to the River Calder off Leeds Road, Castleford, at 6.58pm this evening to a report of a concern for safety for a male in the water.
