ZOE co-founder Jonathan Wolf spoke to Dr Justine Kluk and Dr Sarah Berry about how much impact certain foods can have on our skin, and if it can really cause severe acne.
A pair of health experts discussed the different foods that can affect your skin, and how overeating certain products can have an impact on your hormones.
Dr Kluk discussed the potential negatives of an "elimination diet", where you cut out certain foods to find out which ones actually affect your health and skin. Dr Berry then went into more detail, as she noted that high glycaemic foods include white bread, white pasta, potatoes and so on. These foods can "cause a really rapid increase in blood sugar".
