In the meantime, he reminded the community not to forget the people in Palestine who are still fighting to defend their homeland.In Perak, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad also reminded the community to not forget the struggle of the Muslim brothers in Palestine in the excitement of ushering Aidilfitri, saying that prayer is the most powerful weapon so that ‘Allah SWT’ will always protect them from Zionist tyranny.
In his message, he hoped to continue witnessing the values of love, unity, tolerance and celebrating the long-rooted diversity in the state blossoming, so that the development of the state will be more comprehensive with the infusion of human values. In Negeri Sembilan, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun prayed that this year’s Aidilfitri would be more meaningful for all the people in the state and welcome it with joy together with their beloved families, while encouraging the tradition of visiting to strengthen bonds of friendship and unity.
“Even though the holiday is synonymous with joy, we should not be excessive in celebrating it because in Islam, it is prescribed as a worship and not a mere cultural tradition. I also ask all Kedahans to give priority to safety, especially on the roads,” he said.
