Grove City sophomore Keegan Holmstrom, an Ohio State commit, lost the first start of his high school career as a freshman. He's 15-0 since.

AKRON — The first time Keegan Holmstrom took the mound as Grove City's starting pitcher, he took a 3-2 loss.

"He’s done that since I’ve met him," Grove City coach Ryan Alexander said."He is cool, calm and collected and he loves that moment. It never is too big of a moment for him." Grove City added another three runs in the second, giving Holmstrom an even larger cushion, though he didn't need it as he allowed only one run the rest of the way on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.

"Gotta go to the next one, right?" Holmstrom said."It’s a seven-inning game, it’s not a one-inning game or anything like that. You’ve got to throw all seven."
