This summer, Wallnau argued that the presence of the Proud Boys on Jan. 6 was misunderstood. “Everybody says theare bad…. They might not be bad,” he said, suggesting instead that “their orders were to clean up the garbage and get out of the Capitol. They were there to protect Trump people from Antifa.”
