2026 has been a massive year for HBO already, thanks to two of the biggest TV releases we’ve seen in a while. The studio got the ball rolling with the sophomore season of The Pitt, the critically acclaimed medical drama starring Noah Wyle.

The Pitt’s excellence hasn’t come as much of a surprise, though, especially considering it was renewed for a third season before fans even had a chance to react to Season 2. HBO also brought fans back to Westeros with the premiere of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1, the Game of Thrones spin-off show set between the events of the flagship series and House of the Dragon. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 was a massive success, and work on Season 2 is already underway. However, what has been a successful year for HBO is set to get even bigger with the release of Euphoria Season 2 next weekend. The streamer has confirmed that the long-awaited third season of Euphoria will premiere on April 12, and new episodes will be released every Sunday night until the Season 3 finale on May 31. It’s been over four years since an episode of Euphoria was released, and while many fans thought the show was doomed never to get another season, HBO pooled its resources to ensure that the story continues. Less than two weeks removed from the premiere of Euphoria Season 3, HBO has released what will likely be the final trailer for the upcoming season, teasing all the signature chaos and erotic adventures long-time fans of the show are familiar with. The show was written and created for TV by Sam Levinson, who is back in Season 3.
