HBO is taking the 'Game Of Thrones' Starbucks cup goof in good stride and with good humor.
"TBH we're surprised she didn't order a Dragon Drink," In an interview with WNYC, executive producer
Bernie Caulfield said “We’re sorry!" then jokingly added, “Westeros was the first place to actually, you know, have Starbucks.” Caulfield also joked that Starbucks should send them money, though hopefully HBO will edit the cup out of the episode soon. Caulfield also said that the prop people are typically on the ball"1000 percent" and Game of Thrones
is in good shape. After this episode, we only have two remaining. I have serious doubts about how this whole story can come together that quickly. We shall see. It is nice to see HBO joke around about all of this, however. This kind of thing happens. I never would have noticed it, personally. I just wish they'd taken more time writing a more plausible script. I'd give everyone in Winterfell a latte if we could just undo pretty much everything that happened in 'The Last Of The Starks.'
