Atlanta travels to New Orleans tonight looking for its fourth straight win

After two days off, the Atlanta Hawks are back in action tonight against the 4-1 New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans was last playing on Thursday night without Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, but the team found a way to beat the Detroit Pistons. These are two teams that are good at different things at this point in the season. Atlanta has one of the best offenses in the NBA, while the Pelicans have one of the best defenses in the NBA.

The backcourt for Atlanta gets a lot of attention and they should. Dejounte Murray is off to a great start to the season and is currently averaging 21.8 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 6.0 APG. He had an incredible 41-point performance against Minnesota on Monday and scored 22 points in the third quarter alone. Trae Young is not shooting the ball the way that he wants to, but he has still been an effective playmaker. Young is averaging 21.6 PPG, 2.2 RPG, and 10.0 APG.

With Brandon Ingram sidelined for some games, the offensive workload has had to fall on CJ McCollum. The former Portland Trail Blazer is averaging 23.4 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 5.6 APG. Zion Williamson sat last game but has been effective in the games that he has played. He is averaging 21.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 4.0 APG.Quin Snyder did start Saddiq Bey against the Wizards after starting Johnson the previous two games, but I think he will elect to start Johnson tonight to guard Zion or Ingram .

The Pelicans have one injury that is worth monitoring. New Orleans forward Brandon Ingram is questionable coming into this game, but star forward Zion Williamson is going to be returning to the lineup after resting on Thursday. Jose Alvarado, Naji Marshall, and Trey Murphy III will remain out for the Pelicans.Capela is going to have his hands full with guarding Valanciunas tonight.
