The first-year player hurt his left foot in a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
The Atlanta Hawks' 2024 offseason has been a pretty eventful one so far, though the team has just suffered its first major setback.Imaging indicates that rookie Hawks small forward/shooting guard Nikola Đurišić suffered a left foot fracture in a Summer League matchup against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, the team has announced via its official X account.
A timeline for Đurišić's recovery has yet to be determined, though this surely will put a dent in at least some of his rookie season.Atlanta had the No. 1 overall pick this year, which it used to select 19-year-old ASVEL Basket and JL Bourg small forward Zaccharie Risacher, a high-upside 6-foot-9 swingman who was named a EuroCup Rising Star, the LNB Elite's Best Young Player, and an LNB All-Star during his time abroad.
