Disney has released a special edition Hawkeye doll of Hailee Steinfeld's KateBishop, complete with her accessories and signature weapons.
Disney has just released a special edition doll of Hawkeye's very own Kate Bishop, complete with all her accessories. Hawkeye premiered on Disney+ and is Marvel Studios' most recent series. The show is just six episodes long, but still made quite an impact. Hawkeye marked Jeremy Renner's first solo project since donning the bow and arrow in the MCU's beginnings with 2012's The Avengers.
One breakout character that came from the show was Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop. The character was highly anticipated before arriving into the MCU, and Steinfeld's performance did not disappoint, with many fans believing she played the character to perfection. At the end of the series, Kate becomes her idol's official partner, becoming a hero by helping Clint Barton take down Kingpin and the Tracksuit Mafia.
Despite the doll being an exact replica of Bishop's look in Hawkeye, it is not entirely accurate when compared to the character's comic book origins. A recent Instagram post showed the early concept art of Kate Bishop's design. Marvel's Director of Visual Development, Andy Park, had originally created Bishop's look without the long-sleeve top, and with a slightly different front design and material.
Alongside Bishop's MCU debut, Hawkeye brought back a familiar face in the form of Yelena Belova. Played by Florence Pugh, the young assassin returned to the MCU after her debut in Black Widow, looking to take revenge on Barton, having been told that he was responsible for her sister Natasha Romanov's death. Already a fan favorite, Marvel fans were particularly excited when Yelena formed an unlikely friendship with Bishop.
