The short film sets the pictures to music and captions such as, ‘Their eyes say it all’, ‘Eyes which tell you how they’re feeling’ and ‘Staying at work for you’.Mr Gray, 41, said: ‘Having spent 20 years as an Army medic, one of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t take enough pictures, especially during the difficult times on operations, or the occasions where history was literally unfolding before my eyes.
‘I wanted to give the people I work alongside something to look back on in years to come. I started off by photographing two or three people a night with the proviso that if they didn’t like it I would delete it. None have been deleted.
Mr Gray served in Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq while in the Royal Army Medical Corps, and said he had been delighted by the response from social media after his pictures were posted online.He said: ‘I am absolutely amazed with all the lovely comments and positive feedback I have received.
