BELURAN: Former Assistant Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Datuk Tan Yong Gee said there has been no projects or programmes in the district that can help boost tourism.
“Other districts have been given allocations for tourism projects that would facilitate tourism activities but none for Beluran. “The government needs to ensure that Beluran is given equal attention when it comes to tourism development,” said Tan. The former Labuk Assemblyman said besides the lack of projects related to tourism, there is also a lack of promotion on tourism potential of the district.
