In settling, the school agreed to accept the International Holocaust Remembrance Association’s definition of antisemitism, according to a press release. That definition describes antisemitism as a “certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews.” Trump, then the Republican presidential nominee, vowed in an address to Jewish donors in September to pull federal funding from colleges pushing "antisemitic propaganda." During a May campaign rally, he also supported deporting noncitizens who "try to bring" antisemitism to college campuses.
