Harvard Law School 's J.D. Class of 2027 is significantly less diverse than the previous year, with a steep decline in Black and Hispanic student enrollment. Data reported to the American Bar Association shows that the class includes 19 Black students, a more than 50% drop from the 43 students in the previous year. Hispanic student enrollment also declined sharply, with 32 students admitted compared to 63 the previous year.
While Harvard Law spokesperson Jeff Neal acknowledged that the Supreme Court's landmark ruling last year likely impacted law schools' ability to attract a diverse student body, he cautioned against drawing conclusions from a single year of data
