The Harry Potter attraction will be the second such experience in the world, after the one in London opened in 2012.
Last week, it was announced that Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo — The Making of Harry Potter will open its doors to the public in early 2023. Visitors can literally see “behind the scenes” and get to understand both the worlds of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts better — all at this one location. “I’m delighted to be able to develop Harry Potter in Japan,” said Ann Sarnoff, Warner Bros. chairperson. “Toshimaen has a well-established reputation as a beautiful sightseeing spot, and has an ideal environment as a construction site. While maintaining harmony with the local environment, we look forward to the establishment of the Studio Tour.”
