Gareth Southgate continues to show trust in the Man Utd defender, so he must now turn that trust into a way back into Erik ten Hag's thinking
Harry Maguire has been selected for England in the upcoming October international break. The Three Lions will face Australia in a friendly match before the more significant task of a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy.
Southgate has repeatedly shown his trust in the 30-year-old despite not regularly starting for his club over the last few years. Maguire endured a torrid time in his last outing with England however, coming off the bench at halftime in the 3-1 win over Scotland, only to provide the Scot's only goal by stabbing the ball into his own net at Hampden Park.
