King Charles' Coronation date has been confirmed as May 6
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a statement on King Charles' Coronation, with the couple confirming they have been invited to the prestigious ceremony later this year.
There were doubts about whether the Sussexes would attend the King's Coronation on May 6 but The Sun has now reported that a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan has confirmed that Prince Harry "recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation".
Reports have claimed the move was sanctioned by the King and it will remove their remaining foothold in the UK and further weaken ties with the royal family. Home Secretary Suella Braverman will extend licensing hours from the normal 11pm to 1am to allow people to “enjoy an extra pint or two”.
