Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can 'expect to be treated like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie' if they attend King Charles’ Coronation, an expert has claimed.
The official crowning of King Charles will take place on 6 May at Westminster Abbey - with government ministers promising the event will "showcase the very best of the United Kingdom". She explained: “Now that they are no longer working royals, the Sussexes can expect to be treated the same way as Harry’s cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who attend important family occasions but are not in the spotlight and do not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
The expert went on to point out that the couple did attend the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral during the celebrations - but were not seated in the front row with William, 40, and Kate, 41. Harry’s memoir Spare was released last month and brought a new round of attacks on the Royal Family - two years on from his controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, and just weeks after the Sussexes’ Netflix documentary series levelled a fresh round of damning claims against the monarchy.
